T20 World Cup 2024 trophy tour makes its way to Pakistan for a three-day-tour

The T20 World Cup 2024 trophy tour began in the US and began its Pakistan leg on April 25th when it arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan.

It was unveiled on April 26th and is now on display in front of the National Assembly in the capital of the country.

On the day it arrived in the country, it was displayed at the National Monument in the Federal Capital where eager fans got a chance to glimpse at it.

The trophy will go on a three-day tour in the country including the cities of Lahore and then Abbottabad.

The out-of-the-world trophy will arrive in Lahore on Saturday (April 27th) at the National Cricket Academy.

On that same date, it will be displayed at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore during the last match in the Pakistan vs New Zealand T20 series.

The trophy is set to tour 15 countries in total and will be graced and received by legends of the game.

Other than the participant countries, it will visit emerging cricket nations such as Brazil, Argentina, and Canada to promote cricket among the people.

Pakistan will play its first match against the United States on June 6th at the Grand Prairie Stadium.

This is the first edition of the World Cup the US is hosting.

The trophy will be given to the winner of the tournament that is set to start in June in the United States.
