West Indies to host South Africa, Bangladesh, and England in 2024
The West Indies will host the men’s team of South Africa, England, and Bangladesh from May to December 2024.
The South African team will play a three-match T20I series from May 23 right up to the T20 World Cup begins in June which will be co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies.
The series will clash with the IPL’s playoffs and it is much likely that a few Carribean players are going to be needed in the playoffs of the league such as Rovman Powell and Shimron Hetmyer. Powell is also the skipper of the T20I team of West Indies.
The two players are part of the Rajasthan Royals with the franchise currently sitting at the second spot on the points table.
The Cricket West Indies have allowed their players to play in the IPL but return until their teams exit.
After the South Africa tour and the World Cup, the West Indians will host England for a Test series in July then the South Africans will have another visit and will play two Tests in Trinidad and Guyana from August 7th. This will be followed by another T20I series between the Proteas and the hosts of three matches from August 23rd at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad.
The test series between South Africa and West Indies will be preceded by a four-day warm-up game.
The West Indies will have a reprieve from hosting teams and will fly to Sri Lanka for a white-ball tour in October.
After the team returns, England will tour the West Indies from October 31st for three ODIs and five T20Is scheduled to be played at Antigua, Barbados, and St Lucia.
Then in November, Bangladesh will visit from November 22nd to December 19th for two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is. The Tests will be played at Antigua and Jamaica, the ODIs in St. Kitts and Nevis, and the T20Is in St. Vincent.
