NBA Legend Wade Supports Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso’s Playful Jab in Finals Ad
Dwyane Wade admires the recent NBA Finals advertisement showcasing basketball champions and highlighting the performances of Chicago Sky rookies Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso.
For anyone who didn’t see it, Reese and Kamilla Cardoso seemed to be making a crown gesture toward Caitlin Clark in the advertisement. The NCAA Women’s Championship was won by the two, who prevented Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes from claiming the title. Reese continued to strengthen the speculations that she is criticizing Clark by restating her statement from the ad in her most recent social media post, emphasizing “CHAMPS ONLY.”
Regarding Wade, he noticed the post from the Sky that said “Wait for it,” referring to Reese and Kamilla Cardoso’s moment. The message was shared by the NBA legend with the comment, “It was the appropriate thing to do.”
It’s unclear if Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso were actually teasing Caitlin Clark, but a lot of people think that may be the case based on their past interactions.
Dwyane Wade does not see a problem with it and seems very willing to continue the debate. By the day’s end, Reese and Kamilla Cardoso have earned the title of champions, unlike Clark who hasn’t achieved it, at least for now.
Sky are well represented in this NBA Finals ad.
Dwyane Wade, Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso all featured. Reese + Cardoso were cast bc of their championship pedigree as well as them both being two of the most exciting rookies in the WNBA.

Clark has not responded to the viral video yet, but it is doubtful that we will hear her speak about it.
