Cartwright admires Jordan’s being an outstanding defensive player glorifying him many times as an All-Defensive team member, award winner for the best defensive player, and record holder as the most prolific stealing forward in NBA history. Jordan’s defensive work attitude was in line with his offensive skills, which combined to make him a difficult presence both on offense and defense.
The pair created a perfect harmony, and this was the major factor the Bulls won six championships with the two of them. Their excellence in the NBA finals not only made them one of the all-time NBA greats but also estimated them as one of the greatest basketball double-teams of all time.
Jordan’s individual awards, including the MVPs and the scoring titles, proved how great he was and how he couldn’t be compared to anyone else. Therefore, just like the case of Scottie Pippen, who had contributed greatly to the Bulls’ championships, with his defensive expertise and All-Star squad, he was also universally accepted as an all-time best.
