Present assistant coach of Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr is working with LeBron James for Team USA where he has expressed his desire with James’ focused and captain-like behavior. In a discussion with ESPN, Kerr referred to James and his vocal prominence and commitment to the drills by saying, “The guy is incredible”.

Returning to the Team USA for the fifth time since 2008 and the second Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro LeBron is willing to play for his country officially. His stats in the showcase games—9.3 points, 2.7 assists per game—demonstrate his readiness.

Another spectacular talent on his team aside from Stephen Curry and Joel Embiid is James. Kevin Durant who just recently got back from injury is another advantage for the team. During the 2024 Paris Olympics preparation, therefore, LeBron will be an asset to Team USA.
