Unexpectedly, former Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed has decided to step down as captain of the team ahead of the ninth season of the much-awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL 9). This incident has sparked a lot of speculation and debate among cricket enthusiasts and professionals.
According to sources close to the team, the team’s respected coach, Shane Watson, was influential in Sarfraz’s choice to withdraw from the captaincy.
