Pakistan squad for T20 World Cup 2024 has been finalized: reports
Reports suggest the Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup has been finalized. Babar Azam will lead the 15-player squad and Haris Rauf is also in the squad after recovering from his injury.
Hasan Ali, Salman Ali Agha, and Irfan Khan are to travel with the team as reserves for the T20 World Cup.

Babar Azam (c), Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Usman Khan, Azam Khan, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Saim Ayub, Iftikhar Ahmed, Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah, Abbas Afridi and Haris Rauf.
Reserves: Salman Ali Agha, Hasan Ali and Irfan Khan.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the final squad after the first T20I against England and it is scheduled for May 22nd. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has set May 25th as the deadline for squad revelation.
It should also be noted that only Pakistan is left to announce its T20 World Cup squad, the rest of the 19 teams have already revealed theirs.
Pakistan is grouped with India, Ireland, Canada, and the USA in Group A of the tournament. Their first match will be against the USA on June 6th in Dallas.
Their next match will be the most awaited contest of the tournament, Pak vs Ind on June 9th in New York.
Currently, the Pakistani squad is in England after completing a three-match T20I series against Ireland. In England, the team will play against the English for four T20Is from May 22nd to May 30th and then they will be off for the T20 World Cup.
