Nepal Cricket announce a commendable squad for T20 World Cup 2024
Nepal has announced a 15-member team that travels to the US and the Caribbean for the T20 World Cup 2024 which begins on June 1st.
Rohit Paudel will lead the side full of youngsters and to their first match against the Netherlands on June 4th in Texas.
The Nepalese side includes players who performed well in the ACC Premier Cup and players who are part of the team that is playing matches against West Indies A in Kirtipur.
The Nepali skipper has been tremendous in the series with his bat as he struck a century in the first match.

The squad also has Dipendra Singh Airee, who hit six sixes in an over and has a tendency to equal records and has also made it to the mix.
As for the U19 World Cup players, Nepal has included Gulshan Jha and Pratis GC for their stint in the World Cup.
The only senior player from Nepal’s debut T20 World Cup campaign in 2014 is Sompal Kami who is joined by another senior player Karan KC.
Currently, the Nepali team is participating in the ODI World Cup Qualifier in which they played their last game against West Indies and lost poorly by 101 runs.

As for the T20 World Cup squad, the boards are required to announce their preliminary squads by May 1st and no changes can be made to those squads after May 25th.
The ICC T20 World Cup is set to be hosted by the USA and the West Indies from June 1st. This will be the first ICC event hosted by the USA.
