NBA Star Stephen Curry to Produce ‘Trick Shot’: A Magical Basketball Journey
NBA star Stephen Curry further solidifies his presence in Hollywood with a new scripted project called “Trick Shot.” Curry’s company, Unanimous Media, is collaborating with David Henrie’s Cedar Hill to create a basketball-centered comedy film. Jay Longino, the writer behind “Uncle Drew” (2018) and “Skiptrace” (2016), is responsible for the screenplay. Even though a director has not been named yet, there is already buzz surrounding the film.

Curry and Erick Peyton, who are both founders of Unanimous Media, will be producing this movie. The spot for Cedar Hill belongs to brothers David and James Henrie, with Ben Everard from Everard Entertainment set to produce. Jay Longino and Brian, representing Unanimous Media, will serve as executive producers.

Curry, a member of the Golden State Warriors, has won the NBA championship four times and is widely recognized as one of the best shooters in basketball history. There’s no need to inform him about Hollywood or how it portrays him. He has not experienced a letdown yet as he is set to appear in several upcoming projects, including the Peacock mockumentary series “Mr. Throwback,” both as a lead actor and co-producer working remotely. He also served as an executive producer for the Netflix animated show “Good Times” and the Apple TV+ sports documentary “Stephen Curry: Supporting Roles.”

Henrie is back and this time he is engaging in two activities. He assumes the main role in the offshoot series “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place”. He is set to face off against Dennis Quaid in the upcoming film “Reagan” directed by Richard V. Reagan.
