Ireland Cricket Team to tour Pakistan next year 2025
Cricket Ireland has announced a men’s team tour of Pakistan in August and September 2025. This will be the first time the Irish will visit the country for a tour.
The two teams will play three T20Is and three ODIs as part of the Future Tours Programme (FTP).
There have been no details shared of dates or venues but what is sure about the series is that it will follow a tour of the Women’s Irish team. The Irish Women toured Pakistan back in November 2022 for three ODIs and three T20Is.
The decision was finalized and a statement was released after PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Cricket Ireland chairman Brain MacNeice had a meeting.

After the PCB press release, Cricket Ireland also put out a statement saying that the two boards were able to agree on a men’s tour next year – this will be yet another historic first, coming after the tour to Pakistan by our senior women in 2022.
The two teams are currently head-to-head in a T20I series in Ireland. The Pakistani Cricket Team will travel to England after their Ireland tour ends.
