Indonesia’s young off-spinner sets a new massive world record in T20i cricket

Indonesia’s young off-spinner, Rohmalia Rohmalia set a new world record of taking 7 wickets at no runs in a match against Mongolia on April 24th, Wednesday.

She has managed to obtain the best individual bowling figures in all of T20i cricket both men and women.

Rohmalia achieved this feat in the fifth T20i of a bilateral series against Mongolia by bowling 20 bowls and getting 7 batters out at the cost of no runs.

The Indonesian team batting first, set up a target of 151 and bowled out Mongolia at just 24 runs.

Indonesia has easily won the six-match T20i series against Mongolia by 6-0.

Malaysia’s Syazrul Ezat Idrus has the best bowling figures in men’s T20Is when he took 7 wickets by giving away 8 runs in a match against China last year.

The overall and women’s cricket’s best bowling figures record was previously held by Netherland’s Frederique Overdijk who took 7 wickets by giving away 3 runs in 4 overs in a match against France.
