Chicago Bulls Secure Adama Sanogo with Two-Way Deal

The Chicago Bulls have bolstered their lineup by signing forward/center Adama Sanogo to a two-way contract, the team announced today.

Standing at 6-foot-9 and weighing 245 pounds, Sanogo made an immediate impact during his rookie campaign with the Bulls in 2023-24. In nine NBA appearances, he averaged 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in just 7.3 minutes per game. His standout moment came with a remarkable 22-point, 20-rebound performance against Washington, becoming only the second rookie in Bulls history to achieve a 20-point/20-rebound game (joining Charles Oakley). Sanogo also set a franchise record for the most offensive rebounds in a single quarter with eight.

Adama Sanogo also showcased his skills with the Chicago Bulls‘ G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls, where he played in 29 regular-season games, starting 28 of them. He averaged an impressive 22.0 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game in 30.3 minutes of play. His performance ranked him second in the G League for rebounds per game (12.7) and total rebounds (367), while also placing sixth in total points scored (637). Sanogo was recognized for his outstanding season by being named to the 2023-24 All-NBA G League Third Team, solidifying his potential for growth and impact at the professional level.

Before joining the Bulls, Sanogo had a successful collegiate career at the University of Connecticut, where he averaged 13.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 0.7 steals across 91 games over three seasons. His tenure included winning the 2023 NCAA Championship and earning accolades such as the 2023 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player and two All-Big East First Team selections (2022, 2023).
