

Ex-NBA star Dwight Howard, who had won the Most Valuable Player award and has been an eight-time All-Star, released on Instagram that he has joined the Taiwan Mustangs as both a business partner and a player. Currently 38 years old, he has recently decided to move to Asia and play for an Asia basketball association after a long stint at the NBA.
Subsequently, the social network got to know that Dwight Howard was engaged in a new project and he seemed enthusiastic about it. After the first game that his team played against the Taiwanese team, Howard said to Mu Real, ‘‘Man, one day I am going to start my league where former NBA players, top college recruits, as well as some of the best international players can always find a platform to continue playing their basketball.” But at the time he looked at me like I was crazy but the time we have is NOW!! And we’re coming back!!
Building a New Basketball Community
Dwight Howard has adopted the goal of having his league become competitive and an appropriate ground for nurturing basketball talent. He is at the moment in search of the Taiwan Mustangs and he intends to participate in the Asian Tournament. Howard further tweeted; ‘We gone make my league great like the NBA! Dwight Howard was last active on an NBA court during the year 2021/2022 season while representing the Los Angeles Lakers. However, he was unable to acquire the chance to own and manage a new team in successive seasons and hence, he is still steadfast in trying his luck in basketball. This new assignment in Taiwan raises his career profile and also perfectly combines his love for playing with the desire to help advance basketball’s development on the international level.
