Ben Stokes Out of the IPL 2024 Due to His Fitness
England cricket team’s star all-rounder Ben Stokes will not participate in the IPL, which will be played in May 2024.

England Test captain Ben Stokes has decided not to play this year’s IPL considering his knee injury. Ben Stokes said that he will undergo surgery on his knee after the end of the World Cup.
Star all-rounder Ben Stokes Played 6 out of 9 matches for his team in World Cup 2023 and he has shown excellent batting in some physical matches and also scored a century against the Netherlands. He also showed aggressive batting against Pakistan in difficult times and scored 82 runs for his team.
Ben Stokes could not even bowl in the 2023 World Cup due to a knee injury. He came out of a one-day international retirement to participate in the recent ODI World Cup in India. Stokes was open for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023 and he participated in only 2 matches.
Stokes that CSK took in IPL 2023 for INR 162.5m ($1.95m). He has made himself unavailable for next year’s Indian Premier League in order to manage his workload and fitness, Chennai Super Kings said Thursday.
“The Super Kings management is supportive of Stokes in his decision to manage his workload with England playing a five-Test series in India before the IPL and then the Twenty20 World Cup in June 2024,” the club said.
